Our Manifesto

The web is moving to answer engines.

Every question people used to Google is now answered by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The blogs that get cited are the ones built for it. This is why we're building Kascade.

01

Content is the product.

Your posts are your business. They drive traffic, build authority, and earn citations from AI systems. The web has been held back by blogging tools that treat content as entries in a database. We reject that. In Kascade, the content is the product — and the platform is built to make it rank.

02

Structure is not optional.

Google and AI answer engines don't just read your words — they parse your structure. Schema markup, semantic headings, and sitemaps aren't optional extras. You shouldn't have to configure them manually. The platform should emit correct structured data by default, every time.

03

Speed is a ranking signal.

Core Web Vitals are a ranking factor. Every millisecond of TTFB is a tax on your domain authority. We built Kascade on edge infrastructure so your blog loads in under 50ms anywhere in the world — not because it's impressive, but because slow sites rank lower and get cited less.

04

Ownership matters.

Your content is yours. Your subscribers are yours. Your domain authority belongs to your domain — not ours. We earn your loyalty by being the best platform to publish on, not by trapping you inside it. Custom domain, exportable content, portable subscriber list. Always.

05

Simple scales. Complex breaks.

We're obsessed with removing complexity. Every feature must justify the cognitive cost it imposes. A blogging tool that does fewer things brilliantly will always beat one that does everything poorly. We'd rather be opinionated and fast than flexible and slow.

06

The web should answer questions.

AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity are now the first thing people see. The blogs that get cited are the ones that answer questions clearly, with clean structure and verifiable facts. We built Kascade for writers who want their work to matter — not just to rank, but to be the source AI quotes.

This is what we believe. This is what we're building toward.

If it resonates, come publish with us.
